Art Zone organized the Free Sketching sessions to experience firsthand Sketching and fast drawing with our professional team of artists and live models.
It was our First Students & Instructors Exhibition in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpturing. The exhibition contained more than 50 artworks, by 35 Artist.

A successful workshop on photogram was held for free for its photography courses students. The goal of the workshop was to enhance the skills of the students in photogram, which is a special technique that means a photographic image made without a Camera. Art Zone is proud to announce that the results were up to our expectations. Art Zone is also glad to offer more free workshops to students in other courses along with providing all relevant needed artistic techniques.
In these selected prints Karen Kunc has addressed various influences from her different working and travelling environments, from the contrast between the urban and the rural, between the ordered, man-made structures and the organic, natural worlds.

Karen is a Nebraska based artist who also works in New York, Italy, Colorado, and Helsinki. Her prints and artist books have been shown recently in solo exhibitions and in numerous important group exhibitions. Her works are represented in many public and private collections. She has operated her own Blue Heron Press for over 25 years to produce handmade unique artist books and literary editions. She is “press rich”, owning two Vandercook Proof presses and 3 etching presses of various sizes and makes. She works from a studio at her home, set on acreage in the countryside outside of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Every month, Art Zone invites our students & our photography friends to a Photography field trip to many rich places such as Al-Fayoum, Kan El-Khalili, Alexandria … etc. which allow them to apply the course & explore the outdoor lighting, then they come back to Art Zone to discuss their work in a friendly Gallery Talk.
